The South Belgrave Football & Netball Club would like to announce our new and returning football recruits for Season 2019.

We are excited that not only do all our recruits bring great football knowledge, skills and experience with them, they are all extremely passionate, which combined with our great new coaching group, we will continue to grow our great club towards the success we are all striving for.

Today we will be announcing the 1st two recruits, with more talent to come in the following days, so stay tuned!

Leigh Odermatt
Leigh is a former Senior Captain and player during many successful seasons is returning as one of our Senior Assistant Coaches (playing) in Season 2019.

Over the last few seasons Leigh has played finals at Coldstream FC, and more recently Heathmont FC, where he made the EFL Division 3 Team of the year, kicking 45 goals for the season in 2018.

His footballing resume at South Belgrave includes best on ground in our 2013 EFL Division 4 Premiership.

Leigh is an athletic, high leaping mark who plays most of his football in the forward line, and is another great acquisition to our building squad.

We welcome Leigh, and his family back to the South Belgrave Football & Netball Club.

Dean Apostolopoulos
Dean is returning next season after spending the past 2 years with the Oakleigh FC.

Dean would be well known to many members & players, having played at South Belgrave for many years in the past.

Dean plays most of his football in the back half, and will be a great addition to our back 6.

We welcome Dean, and his family back to the South Belgrave Football & Netball Club.
